CoPaste was built around one principle: sharing a file should take about as long as it takes to explain it to someone. Here's how it works.
1. Upload
Open the homepage, drag and drop a file or pick one from your device. You can upload as a Guest (no account) for quick needs, or log in for more capacity and extra features — including making files private, custom expiry, and file history in the File Manager.
2. Get a code or QR
Once the upload finishes, the system automatically generates a unique code and QR code for the file. That's what you share — no login or permission requests like some cloud services require.
3. Share it
Send the code or link through any chat app. The recipient just opens the link or enters the code on the Access page, and the file is ready to download — or preview directly in the browser if it's a video, image, or audio file (depending on plan).
Bonus: file format conversion
Beyond sharing, CoPaste also has a Convert feature for changing common file formats (e.g. documents to PDF, images to another format) right from the browser, no extra software needed.
